Madhav Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is the most prestigious education college of Gwalior division. Madhav Mahavidyalaya is recognised by National Cauncil of Teachers Education (NCTE) and affilated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Madhav Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is run by the Madhya Bharat Shiksha Samiti, Vivekanand Marg, Gwalior. Madhya Bharat Shiksha Samiti was established on 7th August 1950. Madhav Shiksha Mahavidyalaya secure a unique place in Madhya Pradesh.
There are faculties of Bachelor of Education (B Ed) and Diploma in Education (D Ed) in Madhav Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Gwalior. B.Ed. Course was launched by the society in 2005-06 with the NCTE Code No. APW01442/223240. There are 100 Seats for B. Ed. Course and D.Ed. Course was launched by the society in 2009-10 with the NCTE Code No. WRC/APW/07694/222443.

Madhav Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is situated on Nai Sadak (Vivekanand Marg) near Hanuman Chouraha, which is very well connected from all the point of Gwalior City. It is just 5 km far from Railway Station and Bus Stand. The campus is free from hustle and bustle of noise and pollution. It is fairly well connected to its neighbouring cities by rail, road and airways.

Psychology Laboratory
The College has well settled Psychology Laboratory for evaluating the educational tests such as Interest, Intelligence, Mental Ability and Personality Test. The Psychology Laboratory also includes the instrumental tests like as Alexander Pass along Test and Mirror Drawing Board, Human Maize and Bhatia Battery Tests etc. Every Students gets an opportunity to get hands on these instruments.

The role of games is vital in a child’s Development process it keeps there body and mind fit at all times the Madhav Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Gwalior tries to provide a wide range to sports and games the students get exposure to various field and track events such as kho-kho, kabaddi, cricket, badminton, football, hockey, yoga etc.
